More About Me

My quest for knowledge about mind body connection and gut health started my journey to the world of colonic hydrotherapy many years ago.

I’ve never had a healthy relationship with food, and although it has been something I have had to focus on all my life, often the focus wasn’t wholesome or beneficial long term.  Having a late coeliac diagnosis left some doubt about how well mainstream medicine manages alternate ways of being, which led to resourcing complementary methods for treating my gut issues.  I’ve struggled with constipation, gut irritation, bloating and discomfort for as long as I can remember.

After spending some time being immersed in eating clean, building lean muscle and being super active, I became disillusioned when I wasn’t seeing the results I’d envisaged and was striving so hard to attain.  I came to realise I had unrealistic expectations around body image, and a continued sense of failure to look a certain way was becoming not only detrimental to my physical health but was having an enormous impact on my mental health and overall wellbeing.

Whilst trying to get a clearer focus, reclaim my health and realign health goals, I decided to revisit colonic hydrotherapy.  It reignited my quest to discover all there is to know about mind-gut connection, gut health, nutrition and wellbeing which felt I had so much to offer the world of colonic hydrotherapy as a therapist. I achieved my original certification through training with the Leanne McGaw at Release Wellness in Newtown, and in 2023 completed my advanced training with Sue Twiggs at Australian Colon Health in Melbourne, and a member of the International Colon Hydrotherapy Association.

I now incorporate colonics weekly into my health regime.  I truly believe having regular colonics has provided me with so many health benefits, including mental clarity and a renewed level of energy, but most importantly comfort in managing an embarrassingly unpredictable bowel.

I am deeply passionate about holistic health and the desire to be the best version of myself is enormously important.  Including colonics in my health portfolio has changed my life and I am dedicated to remaining true to this ethos.  I have no doubt that mind-gut connection is paramount to sustained health and happiness.

Being able to share this wonderful health benefit with others is something I feel truly honoured to do.  My belief is that a holistic, nurturing approach to our wellbeing fits perfectly with colonic hydrotherapy, and I want to empower and enlighten as many people as I can to the amazing world of gut health.
